For the second year in a row, BCAA’s home insurance has won the J.D. Power award for customer satisfaction. ILSTV spoke with Brooke Hanson, BCAA’s Home Insurance Product Manager, to find out what it means for the corporation.

Brooke Hanson: The award measures customer satisfaction and that really is a major priority for BCAA.Each of the individual areas that are measured in the survey are areas that BCAA focuses on and takes pride in being a market leader.

It’s a huge honour to us, especially as a local company from the west, I think that BCAA really values the fact that our customers truly appreciate what we do. Being compared to some of our larger competitors, it is nice to know that our approach is truly appreciated by our customers. I think the J.D. Power and Associated name and brand is already quite strong and so we try and take advantage of the name and the brand as much as we possibly can.

I think that our competitors are kind of creeping up on us this year, in terms of the overall scores so we will be doing our best to try and keep our score high and really trying just to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations just as much as we possibly can.
