Arthur J. Gallagher International has opened a new office in Calgary and will be trading under the name of Gallagher Energy Risk Services.

The new Calgary office will be headed by former Aon energy leader Scott Heighington.

Gallagher, an insurance brokerage and risk management services firms headquartered in Illinois, began its global energy initiative last year with an investment in wholesale energy specialist Alesco Risk Management Services.
