British Columbia Automobile Association Board Chair Brian Minter announced the appointment of Tim Condon as BCAA's new President and CEO.

Condon, who assumes the post on December 14, succeeds Bill Bullis who is retiring later this year after a distinguished 14-year career with BCAA.

Condon, 47, joins BCAA following a successful 17-year tenure with Canadian Tire where he most recently served as Chief Strategy Officer, a role in which he was accountable for corporate strategy, acquisitions, new business ventures and the corporation's environmental strategy.

Previously, Condon championed the launch of Canadian Tire's retail banking venture, and led a number of the company's business units, including the insurance and emergency roadside assistance businesses along with an award-winning customer service centre. He was also President of Comp-U-Card Canada, a wholly owned travel subsidiary of Canadian Tire Financial Services.
