The Insurance Council of Saskatchewan is making ethics training mandatory for its licensees.

As of January 1, 2010, Saskatchewan licensees must complete at least three hours of approved ethics training.

The Council said that licensees must also complete an ethics course within subsequent five-year cycles. Any credit hours earned for an ethics course can be applied towards any continuing education requirements.
