The top 25 award selection is based on the programs and benefits companies offer their employees with families. The list is produced by Media Corp Canada.

All companies were judged on their family benefits such as top-up for maternity leave, parental and compassionate leave, flexible work arrangements, assistance for child and elder care as well as vacation and time-off.

SGI was recognized for its progressive maternity and parental leave top up to 100 per cent for moms, dads and adoptive parents. As well, SGI was commended for providing additional compassionate leave with pay and flexible work hours.

Earlier this year, SGI was named one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers for the third consecutive year, one of Saskatchewan’s Top Employers for the fourth time and was previously named one of Canada’s Top Diversity Employers.
