Voyageur Asset Management announced that, effective December 31, 2009, it has changed its name to RBC Global Asset Management (U.S.). The firm said the name change represents an important step in its evolution into the U.S. institutional client platform of RBC Global Asset Management that began in 2008.
RBC Global Asset Management comprises the three asset management firms owned by Royal Bank of Canada: RBC Global Asset Management (U.S.), RBC Asset Management, and Phillips, Hager & North Investment Management.
RBC Global Asset Management has combined assets of more than $200 billion as of October 31, 2009 and offices in the U.S., Canada, Europe and Asia.
