The Workers' Safety and Compensation Commission of the Northwest Territories has laid 25 charges after a worker was injured at a hydro power facility north of Yellowknife last year.
The agency has released few details of the allegations, or the alleged incident at the Snare Hydro power facility June 3, 2008.
Charges have been laid against Northwest Territories Power Corporation, Carter Industries, a construction company based in Hay River, and Mandeville Engineering.
Two individuals have also been charged.
The commission alleges that the accused failed to take reasonable precautions and implement procedures to ensure the safety of Tim McAuley, a worker at the site.
The accused are expected to make their first court appearance on the charges June 30.
