According to a report in The New York Times, the survivors of the US Airways flight that landed safely in the Hudson River in January are finally getting their luggage and belongings back.
Douglass Personal Effects Administrators, a company out of California, is said to be managing the returns and has been arranging delivery of the person effects once ownership was identified.
AIG Aviation Adjustment Services, the airline’s insurance company, has reportedly begun offering passengers of Flight 1549 $10,000 if they agree not to sue the airline.
