Well, sort of. We didn't find any historical artifacts in our office, but we did find an interesting person to talk to.

ILSTV was able to sit down with Geoff Dominy. You may not know him by name, but if you are an Antiques Roadshow fan, you will likely know him.

Geoff is one of Canada's most respected gemologists. He toils on television to provide appraisals and estimates to Canadians and is also a Fellow With Distinction of the Gemological Association and Gem Testing Laboratory of Great Britain. He was the founder and president of the Jewelers Association of Canada. If that’s not enough, he also teaches the Jewelry Appraisal Program at Vancouver Community College.

Every Tuesday until July 28, you can catch Geoff explain various aspects of gemology and how they relate to insurance.
